Education, Research & Service: Holistic Engagement in our Maywood Community
The Humanities Forum will focus on the ways in which I (and others at the Health Sciences Campus) interact with the community in which Loyola resides, Maywood, through education, research and service. I will discuss the progression of my thinking and actions around community engagement, and the importance of strong community connections. The organization which prompted my family’s moving to Maywood, Maywood Fine Arts, will be highlighted and a group of young dancers will also perform.
